• Yiddish Shabbes - Mameloshn Yiddish Song Group to Participate in Friday Night Services on March 8th – Friday night 8pm.   Yiddish Women's prayers from the "Tsene Urene" (the Yiddish Women's Prayerbook) and Yiddish Songs reflective of the holiday, including a Yiddish rendition of the "Sabbath Prayer" or "Kables Shabes-Lid" from "Fiddler on the Roof" create a haimish (homey) Sabbath/Shabes atmosphere.

Yiddish Music Concert in Oak Park!

Saturday January 5th, 2013 5:30 pm  

Monthly Melave Malke at the home of Tamar Levinson and Rahmiel Hayyim Drizin. 

• At 5:30 p.m. we'll do a musical Havdalah followed by the Fourth Meal of Shabbat. 
• We welcome vegetarian food contributions, challah, kosher wine or grape juice, desserts. 
• At 7:00 we'll hear a d'var Torah on Parashat Shemot.
• At 8:00 p.m. we'll be treated to the Yiddish music ofMameloshn, which will also include group participation. RSVP to rhayyim@gmail.com
